So this here is the launch of my latest project. The immensely talented Ryo Baum, who has previously helped me release my Halloween EP and just been an all around good guy, has asked me to help him start a series of interviews with local artists and musicians for his online magazine, receptaclemag.com. So the first interview in this series was with the Long Beach band Wild Pack of Canaries. Great guys with a very unique sound. They somehow are able to make obscure, almost experimental sounding music that you can still bob your head and sing along to. I highly recommend checking their stuff out, it's all I've been listening to for the last week. You can start by checking out my interview with them and see if it wet's your appetite for some more Wild Pack... Ha. I said "wet."
Got some more artists on the horizon, so be sure to check back here or at receptaclemag.com or on my Facebook or on receptaclemag's Facebook or on one of my friend's Facebook as they might link it on their page or just google "receptaclemag interview" or come up with another way to find these interviews and let me know if you find them.
